Colour: Deep crimson
Bouquet: The bouquet has typical cool climate characters of dark chocolate, cedar and blackcurrant fruit.
Palate: Medium bodied, the palate shows rich plum and blackcurrant fruit in the mid-palate, with a fine tannin finish.
Vintage: 2008 was an extremely warm and dry season allowing late ripening varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot to achieve full ripeness quite early in the year.
Winemaker: Geraldine McFaul
Winemaking: The wine was matured in French oak barrels for 22 months. Cellar for up to five years for greater complexity of flavour.
