Planted: 1979
Colour: Pale straw with clear hues.
Bouquet: Beautiful aromas of crème brûlée interlaced with citrus subtleties.
Palate: The elegant palate has hints of citrus, grilled nuts and honey flavours, complimented by fragrant French oak and finishing with exceptional balance.
Vintage: The 2010 vintage was a relatively consistent, with good rainfall and warm ambient temperatures producing wines with exceptional quality.
Winemaker: Geraldine McFaul
Winemaking: Following careful handpicking, the grapes were delivered to the winery, destemmed, and whole bunch pressed, settled and then racked to barrel and inoculated. The wine was fermented in French oak barrels with regular lees stirring. Malolactic fermentation was completed in spring. The wine had 11 months in French oak barriques.
